Job summary

Del Grande Dealer Group is seeking skilled automotive service technicians in San Jose. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and conduct multi-point inspections on each vehicle.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of diagnostic experience, DMV check, and a drive-ready record. In-house training and ASE certification are a plus, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• X-Time/CDK experience is a plus.
• DMV check required.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform multi-point inspections on every vehicle.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Learn new technical information and techniques to stay proficient in automotive diagnosis and repair.
• Maintain legible, accurate paperwork for customers and records.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Perform work as specified on the repair order in line with dealership policies.
