Harbinger Motors Inc. is looking for an Automotive Software Engineer to support scaling efforts on the Baux Project. Your role will focus on developing a Diagnostics Tool and collaborating with teams onsite. The ideal candidate has automotive software engineering experience, particularly in UDS, CAN, and is proficient in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Diagnostics Tool to interact with Harbinger's core products.
• Interface with vehicles and the End of Line team.
• Perform unit testing and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Skills

Automotive software engineering experience (UDS, CAN, ODX)

Heavy proficiency in Python

Heavy proficiency in C++

Strong understanding of Diagnostics and Unit Testing

Experience utilizing diagnostic services (UDS) on Ethernet, CAN, and LIN

Knowledge of standard automotive diagnostic tools (e.g., CANdela Studio)

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Experience troubleshooting diagnostic functions

Experience developing functional and software requirements

Familiarity with Safety processes (e.g., ISO 26262)

Proficiency in designing and executing test cases
