Job summary

Tata Elxsi is seeking automotive embedded engineers to contribute to diagnostics, calibration, and ECU software development. The role emphasizes deep expertise in Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR, and vehicle communication protocols.

You will work with OBD/UDS, CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet, using Vector tools for diagnostics and calibration. Collaborations span across architecture to validation within automotive engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of embedded C and C++ in automotive domains.
• Understanding of UDS (ISO 14229), OBD-II and related calibration/diagnostic tools.
• Experience with AUTOSAR architectures, RTE and MCAL concepts.
• Hands-on with CAN/CAN-FD/LIN/FlexRay and automotive Ethernet protocols.
• Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANoe and DaVinci Configurator/Developer.

Responsibilities

• Apply diagnostics protocols and ensure compliant vehicle diagnostics stacks.
• Work with AUTOSAR diagnostic modules (DCM/DEM) and related tooling.
• Leverage Vector tools for calibration and diagnostics configuration.
• Ensure compliance with CARB OBD II requirements and related regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement embedded software features.
• Support development from architecture to integration and validation.
