Job summary

Furystillwatercdjr is seeking a Journeyman Technician to perform skilled automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to OEM and dealership standards. This role supports shop productivity and requires strong diagnostic and mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment.

The responsibilities include documenting findings, communicating with Advisors for approvals, and test-driving to validate repairs, while adhering to safety practices and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years automotive repair experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level diagnostics and repairs.
• Repair brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical systems.
• Complete maintenance services and component replacements.
• Conduct drivability diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Document repair findings clearly and accurately.
• Communicate with Advisors on additional findings or needed approvals.
• Test-drive vehicles to validate repairs.
• Maintain tools, shop equipment, and proper safety practices.
• Support workflow by assisting Light Duty Technicians.
• Meet productivity and quality targets.
• Assist with mentoring less experienced technicians.
• Support shop operations as needed.
