Job summary

SL Tennessee in Clinton, TN seeks an experienced program manager to drive automotive project introductions from quote through SORP, coordinating across regions and functions.

You will manage scope, cost, and timing for lighting programs, guide technical direction, develop tooling and sourcing for RFQs, lead product development to Gate Reviews, and support Lean, PFMEA, APQP and cross‑functional updates.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience launching automotive products
• 5 years minimum working experience in an automotive supplier manufacturing facility
• Completed college degree or equivalent work experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Korean 50% (written and spoken)
• Development and structuring of PPAPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Flow Charts
• Negotiation and cost management
• Validation testing including customer specific requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage the scope, cost, and timing of new projects by acting as subject matter expert for lighting commodity
• Manage technical direction of activities to meet customer and internal targets
• Develop and review tooling and sourcing assumptions to support new customer RFQs
• Lead product development activities to meet internal Gate Review targets
• Support engineering and costing teams in the development and improvement of cost models technical assumptions, capital equipment planning, and supplier capacity planning
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events and VA/VE activities
• Support the industrialization of tools into the plant operation
• Support the design and development of the PFMEA, Control Plan and Flow Chart
• Manage APQP activities with cross functional team and provide frequent updates
• Support customer requirements and requests as needed through team local PM roles
