Job summary

Dent Wizard is seeking a Technician - Detailer to thoroughly clean and detail vehicles, both interior and exterior, and to ensure client satisfaction. You will wash, polish, and protect surfaces, inspect for defects, and maintain a clean workspace. A valid driver's license is required, and prior detailing experience is a plus.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and professional customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for vehicle care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to ensure a long-lasting shine and protection.
• Inspect vehicles for any noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and tools for each task, maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing workspace.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
• Report any damage or issues to Management immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Physical Job Requirements

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoor.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.

Drug Policy

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting compensation is expected to be: $19.00 to $22.00/hour
