Job summary

Dent Wizard is seeking a detail-oriented Technician - Detailer to clean and refurbish vehicles to the highest standards. This role covers both interior and exterior work with a focus on presenting cars in pristine condition.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, pays meticulous attention to detail, and can work independently or with a team in a fast-paced shop environment. Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to ensure a long-lasting shine and protection.
• Inspect vehicles for any noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and tools, maintaining safety and quality standards.

As a Detailer, your essential job functions include:

Being responsible for cleaning and refurbishing vehicles to meet our company’s quality standards. This includes both the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring that each car is presented in pristine condition.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing workspace.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
• Report any damage or issues to Management immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred, but not required.

Physical Job Requirements

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be capable of simple and fine motor hand manipulations.
• Work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoor.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.

Drug Policy

• All applicants being considered for employment must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$19.00 to $22.00/hour
