Job summary

Dent Wizard is seeking a detailer/technician to thoroughly clean and preserve vehicles, both inside and out. You will wash, wax, and polish exteriors while vacuuming and shampooing interiors, ensuring a showroom-worthy finish.

The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting for defects, applying protective finishes, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for vehicle care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to ensure a long-lasting shine and protection.
• Inspect vehicles for any noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and tools for each task, maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing workspace.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
• Report any damage or issues to Management immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Physical Job Requirements

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be capable of simple and fine motor hand manipulations.
• Work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoor.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be: $22.00 to $25.00/hour
