Job summary

Ramsey Mazda in Urbandale, IA is seeking an Automotive Detailer to maintain dealership quality standards through interior and exterior detailing, protective coverings, and vehicle presentation.

The role offers a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus training and advancement opportunities. A valid driver’s license is required; safety and customer service are emphasized. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers
• Install protective seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles arriving for service
• Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing to maintain dealership quality standards
• Clean vehicle engines and engine compartments
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic concerns and restore the appearance of upholstery, carpets, painted surfaces, and trim
• Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Restore vehicles to a clean and like-new appearance
• Retrieve and stage customer vehicles for delivery
• Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery and communicate any concerns to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area, including service drive and parking lot areas
• Report safety concerns, facility issues, or conditions that could affect employees, customers, or dealership operations
• Maintain a valid driver's license and notify management of any changes to driving status
