Job summary

LaFontaine Infiniti Troy is seeking an Automotive Detailer to clean the interior and exterior of New and Used vehicles for lot display and customer delivery. You will work with a friendly, community-driven team in a company that values employee growth, environmental responsibility, and charitable involvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive detailing experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Good work ethic, organized with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
• Clean engine to remove grease and other materials.
• Buff and polish paint as necessary.
• Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials not removable by standard cleaning.
• Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
• Complete OSHA right-to-know training.
• Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook.
• Any other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License
• 1+ years of Automotive Detailing experience
• Ability to complete tasks on your own as well with a team.
• Good work ethic organized, and positive attitude are a must.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Use of a polishing wheel preferred.
• One or moreyears of related experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash vehicle, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.

• Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, following recommendations of the product’s manufacturer.
• Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
• Complete OSHA right-to-know training.
• Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook.
• Any other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, scrub.
• Frequently, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
