Overview

DriveTime Family of Brands, the largest privately owned used car sales finance & servicing company in the nation, operates out of Tempe, Arizona and Dallas, Texas. Our focus is on matching the right customer with the right vehicle on the right terms.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor maintenance of DriveTime vehicles.
• Perform inspections and coordinate with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards.
• Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution for retail.
• Record daily inventory of vehicles that arrive from auctions.
• Keep the area clean and organized to avoid spills and hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Comfortable operating all vehicles at the Reconditioning Center.
• Ability to perform inspections and keep detailed, accurate records of the condition of vehicles.
• Knowledge of company cosmetic standards and commitment to maintaining them.
• Adherence to safety practices to eliminate hazards to self and teammates.
• Ability to work cohesively with management and team members.

Physical Requirements

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position and requires:

• Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate vehicles and machinery.
• Capability to move objects up to 60 pounds.
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
• Ability to move oneself in confined spaces, including under vehicles.
• Frequent communication with internal customers and exchange of accurate information.
• Frequent movement throughout the workplace.
• Tolerance to environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or emit fumes or odors.
• Communication in English.
