Job summary

Bergstrom Appleton Lexus is seeking a Detail Technician to thoroughly clean, polish, and protect vehicles for guests. You will inspect for damage, ensure top presentation, and coordinate with service and sales teams to manage workload.

The role runs Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays, offering competitive pay and growth opportunities. Ideal candidates have automotive detailing experience, a keen eye for detail, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently, independently and with a team.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of detailing products, tools, and techniques.
• Guest service orientation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles: clean, polish, and wax exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and report findings to the service team.
• Ensure vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness before they are returned or placed on the sales lot.
• Maintain detailing equipment and keep the work area organized and safe.
• Apply protective treatments to vehicles (paint sealants, leather conditioners, fabric protectants).
• Collaborate with service and sales teams to manage workload.
