Automotive Dealership-Process Consultant - Midwest (Gulf Region)

The Process Consultant acts as the key link between dealer partners and their success with our products and processes. They coach dealers on our industry-leading software and advise on processes that enhance ROI, retention, and CSI.

All Process Consultants undergo comprehensive training to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, software, and processes. This prepares them for dealership visits and engagement with dealership personnel, including Dealer Principal, Service Manager/Director, Service Advisors, BDC, and shop staff.

Our approach emphasizes face-to-face interaction, both remotely and in person. Depending on your portfolio and location, travel may constitute 80% or more of your time. We support your efforts to be a road warrior through:

Responsibilities

Reporting to a Regional Manager, the Process Consultant’s primary role is to ensure successful implementation of Dealer-FX’s ONE Platform Solution at assigned dealerships within their zone. Responsibilities include:

  • Representing Dealer-FX’s core values and principles in all interactions
  • Engaging in personal development through Individual Development Plans and the Dealer-FX Mentor Program
  • Preparing for dealership visits with proper documentation and pre-visit processes
  • Gaining dealership personnel buy-in by leveraging our vision and culture change strategies
  • Addressing technical issues on-site and collaborating with Help Desk
  • Working closely with dealership staff to ensure effective use of the platform for ROI, CSI, and retention
  • Ensuring dealership management is comfortable with the user interface and configuration tools
  • Consulting on process improvements to maximize product benefits
  • Identifying and escalating concerns that hinder coaching opportunities
  • Developing and documenting action plans for dealer success
  • Following up remotely via calls, emails, and webinars based on dealer needs
  • Using metrics and reports to measure success and identify improvement areas
  • Collaborating with senior staff to enhance the program
Qualifications
  • Proven problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
  • Strong adherence to processes
  • Relationship-building skills and customer care orientation
  • Experience in the automotive industry or consulting preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Experience with software companies preferred
  • Willingness to travel within North America

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, plus bonuses and incentives. Actual pay varies based on experience and location.
