Service Technician Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs efficiently according to the repair order and dealership standards
2. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
3. Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
4. Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional services and estimates
5. Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

1. Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills
2. Strong analytical and communication skills with a desire to improve
3. Ability to learn new technologies and procedures
4. Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
5. High School Diploma or GED required
6. ASE Certification or technical degree preferred
7. Minimum one year of experience in a service department
8. Valid driver’s license with a clean record
9. Ability to pass pre-employment testing, background checks, and MVR
