Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America (MBRDNA) is seeking a test engineering professional to maintain data logging systems and support measurement setups across the US durability fleets. The role emphasizes diagnostics, vehicle systems knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration with MB teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with 3+ years in R&D or test engineering and strong data handling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Diagnostic and Systems Engineering knowledge: data loggers and diagnostics tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain measurement equipment in US durability test vehicle fleets.
• Monitor data logger systems and ensure export of results to MB data servers.
• Coordinate build of new measurement systems and create work orders for workshops.
• Support improvement of data logger and measurement data handling processes.
• Possess valid driver’s license and ability to drive test vehicles.
