Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an experienced Vehicle System Integration Engineer focused on Software Cybersecurity Testing. The role covers integration, verification, and validation for next-generation vehicle controllers and software platforms.

You will validate cybersecurity features across multiple ECU domains using hardware benches and HIL environments, developing automated CAPL and Python scripts to enhance test coverage and CI integration.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or related field.
• 8+ years in automotive embedded software, system integration, ECU testing, or vehicle network development.
• ≥3 years hands-on automotive cybersecurity verification and testing.
• Strong knowledge of E/E architecture and distributed ECUs.
• Experience with automotive debugging and test tools listed in qualifications.
• Programming/scripting: CAPL and Python; C/C++ a plus.
• Familiar with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDS basics.
• Experience with DOORS Next Gen, IBM RTC, Jira for test management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration and cybersecurity verification of multidomain HPC and Zonal ECU platforms.
• Integrate ECU software, flash/configure, and execute cybersecurity test scenarios on benches and HIL.
• Develop and execute requirements-based test cases for secure boot, secure update, ECU authentication, key management, HSM, diagnostics, and data protection.
• Validate cybersecurity functionality across ECU boundaries and vehicle domains.
• Use Lauterbach, CANoe/CAPL, VT System, and dSPACE HIL for test execution and analysis.
• Develop CAPL and Python scripts to automate cybersecurity test scenarios and improve coverage.
• Validate communication over Automotive Ethernet, CAN, and LIN networks.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and coordinate with development teams for fixes.
• Review requirements and ensure traceability between requirements, tests, and results.
• Support automated test execution and CI pipeline integration.
• Participate in design/architecture reviews to improve security implementation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, embedded software, architecture, and domain teams throughout SDLC.
