Position Summary

Contribute to the growth of the organization across all lines of business through customer engagement, expert product and service knowledge, follow-up, and follow-through at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store. Responsible for engaging customers, scheduling appointments, building trust, understanding needs, communicating processes and timelines, and selling parts and service that optimize vehicle performance; adheres to Company Customer Care standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining productivity of the service business through work order and register transactions, vehicle inspections, and knowledge of services and parts.
  • Assist in customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase (OP) ordering under management guidance.
  • Follow policies regarding cash, credit, check, refunds, and returns. Collaborate with management to address customer service issues, complaints, and business opportunities.
  • Conduct routine express automotive services such as tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter and bulb replacements, battery installations, system testing, cosmetic services, and vehicle inspections.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring services are performed per standard operating procedures.
  • Work with management to maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers; interpret and apply information appropriately.
  • In designated locations, may serve as secondary key holder for opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Maintain an organized and clean shop environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • At least one year of related automotive service experience.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations related to commissions and discounts.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, stand and walk for long periods, reach overhead and below knees, climb ladders, communicate effectively, operate a computer, and safely operate a vehicle. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
