JTEKT Automotive North America is seeking a Cost Planning Co-op for Jan 2027–Dec 2027. The role supports the Steering and Driveline Segment with quotation, cost planning and cost control activities, and may lead benchmarking or special projects.

The position requires pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business, with strong PC skills and the ability to read drawings. Travel is anticipated about 10–20% of the time.

Formación

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing environment would be beneficial, but not required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support Product Managers and Cost Analysts with RFQ’s, cost plans, cost control, and other key activities.
• Create, manage, and update “Should Be” Cost Models for components and processes; develop cost drivers and calculations.
• Create, manage, and update Cost Databases for components and processes; develop cost tables and drivers.
• Support or lead departmental projects related to benchmarking, quoting, cost reduction, etc.
