Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Carrollton, GA seeks a cost estimator/sales administrator to develop complex cost estimates with supporting rationale for presentation to management and customers.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other departments to input data, prepare quotations, analyze past awards, and ensure accuracy of calculations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related cost estimation/sales administration experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; able to develop presentations for customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex and unique cost estimates with supporting rationale for presentation to management and customers.
• Review customer statements and proposal data to coordinate input from Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
• Prepare cost estimates using Bills of Materials, sketches, and verbal descriptions / customer specifications.
• Input contract pricing information into Decostar’s data management system and maintain documentation.
