Job summary
Murgado Automotive Group is seeking a Senior Controller to provide financial leadership across multiple dealerships at our Miami Campus. You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity while guiding accounting teams.
Qualified candidates bring 8+ years in automotive dealership accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), and strong leadership. Tekion and Excel experience are a plus, with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
- Controller or Senior Controller experience in a multi-store environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee critical reconciliations.
- Manage and develop dealership accounting teams.
- Partner with General Managers to improve profitability and control expenses.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, audits, and internal controls.
- Drive process improvements and reporting automation using Tekion and Excel.
