Job summary

Toyota of North Canton is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to lead the dealership's accounting team. The role focuses on accuracy, internal controls, and timely financial closes across a busy multi-brand operation.

You will develop policies, prepare financial statements and forecasts, and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive controller experience needed.
• Experience managing accounting staff and internal controls.
• Proficient in Reynolds & Reynolds software and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional services.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
