Job summary

KPA's Automotive Retail compliance team seeks a seasoned Automotive Retail Legal & Compliance Specialist to strengthen federal and 50-state compliance capabilities for Advertising, Sales, and Finance & Insurance (F&I). You will monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical guidance for consultants and clients.

Reporting to the Chief Legal & Strategy Officer, you will partner with the Director of Legal Affairs to evolve knowledge resources, support ASF consultants, and advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of automotive retail compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of Automotive Advertising, Sales, and F&I.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate legal and regulatory concepts into practical business guidance.
• Proven ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with AI tools to enhance research or knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor federal and state legislation, regulations, agency guidance, enforcement actions, and significant court decisions affecting Automotive Advertising, Sales, and F&I.
• Research and interpret legal and regulatory requirements impacting automotive retailers.
• Provide practical implementation guidance and maintain knowledge resources.
• Support consultant enablement and advertising review processes.
• Leverage AI to enhance regulatory research, reporting, and knowledge management.
