Job summary

A reputable automotive company located in Doylestown is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Collision Estimator. In this role, you will appraise vehicle damage for insurance claims, inspect vehicles, and prepare accurate estimates. Candidates must possess a PA State Appraiser License and have at least 2 years of experience in collision repair. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As an Automotive Collision Estimator, you will appraise vehicle damage to determine the cost of repair for insurance claim settlements. This includes inspecting and testing automobiles using mechanical testing devices, questioning customers about the vehicle's performance or visually inspecting the vehicle. The Estimator prepares itemized work orders, listing the cost of parts and labor. You will pair with a customer service representative who handles all correspondence with the customer – you just write the estimates!

Typical schedule: Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and a clean, valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• PA State Appraiser License is REQUIRED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collision repair
• Ability to work in a team environment and strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to perform all job functions, including bending, standing, lifting, and reaching
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and insurance claim procedures
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex)
