EXPERIENCED LEVEL 2 OR 3 AUTOMOTIVE CERTIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Position:

Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Specializes in brakes, steering/suspension, drivability, and electrical repairs along with general repair work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive repair orders and perform work efficiently and accurately
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Tag, save, and return parts as needed
• Advise service advisor of additional work or issues
• Document work performed
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs address customer complaints
• Perform quality checks
• Attend training and stay updated with factory bulletins
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to safety policies
• Follow regulations governing service repair work
• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally walk, sit, and communicate
• Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
