Job summary

St. Louis Nissan, part of The Ed Napleton Automotive Group, seeks a dedicated Cashier/Receptionist to ensure smooth customer transactions and a positive front-desk experience.

Responsibilities include handling payments, issuing receipts, answering calls, and supporting the service and sales teams. A High School diploma and cash handling experience are preferred; weekend work and background checks may apply; great growth opportunities exist in this family-owned, long-established dealership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience is a plus.
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Answer incoming calls and transfer to the correct department.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
