Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking an Automotive Business Consultant to build relationships with automotive dealerships across the country, helping them become more efficient and profitable. The role involves identifying issues with dealership operations and applying proven consulting programs to resolve them, followed by ongoing support and relationship management.

The position requires extensive travel, up to five nights per week, with a comprehensive 90-day training period.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel extensively with overnight stays up to 5 nights per week.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Office Manager, controller, automotive accounting, AP/AR).
• Must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds accounting software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable.
• Identify trouble areas within dealerships and use consulting services to solve issues.
• Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
• Build trust with customers to drive consulting services sales.
