Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking an Automotive Business Consultant to build relationships with automotive dealers and help them become more efficient and profitable. The role involves extensive travel, with overnight stays up to five nights per week, and ongoing fee-for-service support after project completions.

Training lasts about 90 days, with a base salary of $60,000–$63,000 and potential bonuses. Total target income after training exceeds $80,000 annually through base and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s preferred but not required
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Office Manager, controller, AP/AR)
• Must be willing to travel extensively with overnight stays up to 5 nights per week
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with limited violations
• Must have reliable home internet for video conferencing
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds accounting software is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers and help their dealerships become more efficient and profitable
• Identify trouble areas within the dealership and apply consulting services to solve them
• Follow up with customers after each project to maintain relationships and provide ongoing support and problem resolution
• Drive consulting services sales by building trust through successful outcomes
