Don Larson Ford in Baraboo, Wisconsin, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our fast-growing Ford dealership. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, using Ford service information and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• ASE and/or Ford certifications preferred but not required.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Valid driving record required.
• We are a Drug Free Workplace.
• Insurable to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general automotive repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and driveability repairs.
• Use diagnostic scan tools and Ford service information.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical repair procedures.
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional repair needs.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work closely with service advisors and other technicians.
• Ask for assistance from senior technicians when dealing with complex diagnostic or repair issues.
