Job summary

Toscalito Tire & Automotive in Corte Madera, CA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, lead the customer experience, and coach teammates. You will partner with the Store Manager to keep the shop moving and deliver high-quality service.

The role offers paid training, bonus opportunities, and strong growth toward Store Manager roles within Sun Auto Tire & Service. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and customer-service focus are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first approach.
• Comfort using POS systems, basic computer tools, and basic math for estimates, invoices, and transactions.
• Ability to lead by example and work a schedule that meets business needs, including opening/closing shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations as manager on duty, including opening and closing, cash handling, facility checks, and end-of-day documentation.
• Partner with the Store Manager on scheduling, teammate assignments, shop workflow, KPI execution, and coaching to store standards.
• Lead a positive customer experience by greeting customers, documenting concerns, reviewing service history, and keeping customers updated throughout the visit.
• Present auto repair, tire, and maintenance recommendations clearly and transparently based on inspections, customer needs, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Help manage parts and tire inventory, including receiving, invoicing, returns, warranty tracking, and POS accuracy.
• Follow safety procedures, escalation practices, documentation standards, and company policies while helping the team deliver high-quality work.
