Job Description
About The Role:

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, hourly position serving as a key holder and manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include managing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and meeting performance goals.

Compensation:

Hourly range: $18.00-$20.00, with potential incentives based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician efficiency.
  2. Support sales goals through product recommendations and promotions.
  3. Attend to guest needs and build customer relationships.
  4. Assist technicians with vehicle repair and service communication.
  5. Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  6. Manage inventory and oversee parts and tire stocking.
  7. Guide technicians and organize workflow for efficiency.
  8. Adhere to safety and company policies, including environmental and OSHA standards.
  9. Perform Store Manager functions as needed.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years retail experience or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Preferred: ASE certification and State Inspection License.
  • Leadership and motivation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, inventory, merchandising, and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and dust.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks.
