Assistant Managers are certified and proficient in all areas of store operations and are responsible for overseeing teammates and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and services meet Jiffy Lube's highest standards. They ensure that all teammates are technically proficient and that certification standards are up to date. In the absence of the Store Manager, they oversee the store, set an example as leaders, focus on teammates' career development, and provide consistent guidance and direction. These experts ensure quality workmanship to get guests back on the road. This role is vital to our stores' success, supported by comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, which offers up to 32 college credits for certification courses.
Previous experience is essential, requiring at least 1+ years in a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube. We seek individuals capable of providing exceptional leadership and inspiring high-performance teams.
Assistant Managers should be prepared to stand for long periods on hard surfaces and work in environments with hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.
