Job summary

Jiffy Lube is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and deliver exceptional guest service. You will coach teammates, manage scheduling and performance, and support technicians with routine services and maintenance.

This role emphasizes leadership, training, and a focus on safety and quality standards. The position offers comprehensive training through Jiffy Lube University and opportunities for advancement within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment across our nationwide

Qualifications

• Previous experience is required and MUST have 1+ years working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center or quick lube.
• Ability to inspire a high-performance team through coaching, training and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to Jiffy Lube Guests.
• Develop trust and rapport with Guests and teammates.
• Offer store-level leadership through coaching, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Assist Technicians with oil, routine maintenance, filters, fluids and tire rotations.
• Manage store inventory, product ordering and receiving.
• Oversee store operations to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Open and close the store per Jiffy Lube guidelines.
• Perform building and shop maintenance to improve appearance.

Jiffy Lube Assistant Managers are certified and proficient in all areas of store operations, sales and service and responsible for developing guest relationships. In addition, the Assistant Manager sets an example as a leader, focusing on the career development of teammates, and provides consistent guidance and direction ensuring that all policies, procedures, and services are performed to Jiffy Lube’s highest standards. These are our resident experts who ensure quality workmanship to get our guests back on the road. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. And every J-Team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning training program. We even offer Ace Accreditation of up to 32 college credits for completion and certification of Jiffy Lube University courses.

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, air conditioner service machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to…:

• Provide Jiffy Lube Guests’ with exceptional and world class customer service
• Building relationships with Jiffy Lube Guests’ by developing trust and rapport
• Provide store-level leadership to teammates through coaching, training, scheduling and performance management
• Assist Techs perform Jiffy Lubes’ Signature Service oil, routine preventative maintenance, and service filters, fluids, wipers, tire rotations and other minor services
• Managing store inventory, product ordering and receiving
• Oversee store operations to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Ensure the store is open and closed as per Jiffy Lube guidelines
• Perform building and shop maintenance to improve appearance and curb appeal

Qualifications:
