Job Description

Automotive Assistant Manager

Pay: $17.00-23.00 per hour, based on experience.

As a Monro Assistant Automotive Store Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, including the efficient, productive, and safe operation of service bays. You will participate in a comprehensive management training program from day one, preparing you for advancement. Your role involves building lasting relationships with guests, delivering 5-star experiences, and ensuring safe, reliable transportation for customers.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Store Manager on store operations, hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and termination of employees.
2. Support automotive technicians by training and developing teammates on shop operations and guest services.
3. Assist with scheduling, completing timecards, and assigning work to technicians.
4. Perform duties of automotive technician when needed.
5. Attend meetings and clinics to stay current on tools, parts, and repairs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of automotive and sales experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and basic math skills
• Guest and team-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive State Inspector License
• ASE Certifications
• Proven sales experience in automotive or quick lube
• Leadership experience
