Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking reliable Automotive Assembly Workers for all shifts to join a manufacturing team producing automotive foam seating components. You will assemble seating parts per specifications while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and the willingness to learn multiple processes. Roles involve standing, manual tasks, and use of pneumatic tools in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn multiple production processes and cross-train on different jobs.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive foam seating and related components according to specifications and work instructions.
• Perform line and support operations to produce automotive seating units.
• Follow Operator Description Sheets and established assembly procedures.
• Use hand-held pneumatic tools and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Identify and control nonconforming products until issues are corrected.
• Restock materials and work areas as needed to maintain efficient workflow.
• Monitor production materials and report shortages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
• Help identify and solve workplace or production issues.
• Participate in plant meetings, team activities, and required stretching/exercise activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
