Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive is seeking a skilled machine operator to set up and run multiple machines on an automotive timing chain assembly line. You will follow work standards, perform preventive maintenance, and monitor quality throughout production.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot machine issues, work in a fast-paced environment, and cooperate with teammates to meet schedules. Training and advancement opportunities are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 2-5 Years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.

• Must have good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Check Sheet.
• Apply oil or grease to specified areas and confirm operability of detectors.
• Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand alarm messages and corrections.
• Operate the assembly line machines: roller link, chain, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation check, and more.
• Maintain production schedules, quality control records, and traceability records for each charge of chain.
• Prepare test samples for quality control per work standards and record data accordingly.
• Record downtime using a machine-monitoring system.
• Detect faulty operation or defective material and report to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
