Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific procedures on equipment to ensure safety in cell/line/dept/plant.
• Act to meet Cell, Department and Plant goals.
• Participate to define 5S/TPM activities.
• Perform changeover and set up reductions - if applicable.
• Perform error proofing, regenerate ideas and aid development - if applicable.
• Identify methods to enhance and share team knowledge.
• Participate in team meetings and promote a teamwork environment.
• Support team in an active and constructive role.
• Understand dept. responsibilities and roles and work from standardized work instructions.
• May rotate stations and lines and understand lock out/tag out principles.
• Perform daily safety audits - if applicable and report safety issues.
• Wear PPE and keep station/tools clean and organized.
• Communicate issues affecting Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to management.
