Compensation:

• $15.00 / hour
• Begins at 6 months from hire date for bonus pay up to $3.50 / hour per flat rate hour.

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• 5 days a week / 2 days off

The Apprentice Service Technician must be a graduate of an automotive technician training school. The apprentice is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned by his/her team leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The apprentice technician is assigned a mentor, usually a Master Technician, to assist in acclimating to dealership operations and sharing technical knowledge. The mentor also assists the apprentice as necessary.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Call upon your mentor, team leader, or shop foreman when questions or assistance are needed.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain quality job performance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a valid automotive technical training program.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Be authorized to work in the USA.
• Perform duties safely.
• Pass background checks, MVR, and drug tests.
