Leoforce is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team at an established automotive dealership in Dallas, TX. Mid-level experience preferred, with salary between $50,000 and $65,000 per year.

• Experience in AP/AR and general accounting preferred.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately enter vendor invoices in a timely manner.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Verify invoices for appropriate approvals, coding and accuracy.
• Prepare accounts payable checks and electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate vendor records.
• Research and resolve vendor billing discrepancies.
• Post customer payments and receipts to accounts receivable.
• Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with daily cash receipts and deposits.
• Perform bank and other accounting reconciliations as assigned.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounting reports.
• Communicate with vendors, customers and dealership personnel regarding account questions.
• Support the Controller and accounting team with additional accounting duties as needed.
• Handle confidential financial information professionally.
