Job summary

Mavis Tire in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our modern service centers in the Boca Raton area. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, ensuring safety and performance for each customer vehicle.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of tire experience or training, are at least 18, and are legally eligible to work in the United States; state inspections license is a plus, and lifting over 50 pounds is

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent training.
• State inspection license preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift over 50 pounds.

• Align tires and wheels using precision equipment to ensure proper caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and tire repairs as needed.

We’re looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Boca Raton, FL area.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license. As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
