Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a Lawrenceville, GA service center. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust to ensure safety and straight tracking.

The role includes performing mandated inspections, oil changes, and flat repairs, plus other routine services. We offer weekly pay with incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting/dismounting, rotating and balancing tires, or equivalent education/training.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment; measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure proper alignment and tire wear.
• Perform state-m mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as part of routine service.
• Complete other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.

We're looking for a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Lawrenceville, GA area. About the Position

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customers’ vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customers’ tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis’s Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
