Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking Automotive Alignment Technicians for full-time roles in the Bloomingdale, IL area. You will work in a state-of-the-art service center as part of Team Mavis, focusing on tire wear reduction and alignment to ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include tire mounting/balancing, inspections, oil changes, and repairs as needed. We offer competitive weekly pay and a wide range of benefits as part of our employee program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Preferred state inspection license.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb and lift items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customers' vehicles; measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customers.
