Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Rahway, NJ is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join our fast-paced service team. You will use the latest alignment equipment to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, ensuring tires wear evenly and vehicles drive straight and true.

Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting tires, performing wheel alignments, state inspections where required, oil and filter changes, and other automotive service tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• Preferred: state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Use alignment equipment to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure proper tire wear and vehicle handling.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and general alignment tasks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil/filters and basic repair tasks as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
