Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at our Rio Grande, NJ center. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and keep vehicles traveling straight.

This active role also covers state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required service.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Operate the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to improve tire wear and stability.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as needed.
• Carry out other automotive service tasks as required by the job.
