Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our Lockport, IL service center. You will use advanced equipment to align tires, measure caster/camber/toe, and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, tire rotation and balancing, and other automotive tasks. We offer on-the-job training and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and wheels, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and tire-related services (oil/filters, flat repairs).
• Perform other required automotive service tasks as needed.
• Stand, walk, bend and lift items weighing over 50 pounds as part of the job.
