Job summary

Tulley Automotive Group in Nashua, NH is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our dealership accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to learn the business from the ground up.

You will process vehicle deals, post sales, verify costs and gross profits, monitor CIT, handle warranty submissions, and assist with month-end closing.

• Handle warranty cancellations and submissions; assist with month-end closing activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle deals and bank paperwork promptly, ensuring compliance with all company policies and state regulations.
• Post new and used vehicle sales into our accounting system.
• Verify vehicle costs, gross profit, and commission payouts for Sales Associates.
• Monitor contract-in-transit (CIT) and manage incoming funds from financial institutions.
• Handle warranty cancellations and submissions.
• Reconcile schedules and assist with month-end closing activities.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting is highly preferred.
• Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Excel/Word and experience with dealer management systems (DMS).
• Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating between sales, finance, and banks.
• Reliable, organized, and a positive team player.
