Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive painting, refinishing, or window tinting preferred.
  • Knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, and spray equipment operation.
  • Experience installing automotive window tint.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles and components for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
  • Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications.
  • Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using professional spray equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality appearance and finish.
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
  • Install automotive window tint on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Cut and fit tint film accurately to vehicle windows.
  • Ensure installations are free of bubbles, creases, and defects.
  • Follow all applicable state and local tint regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work efficiently while meeting production and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job status and customer requests.

The ideal candidate has experience with automotive paint applications, color matching, window tint installation, and vehicle preparation techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Automotive Painting
  • Prepare vehicles and components for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
  • Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications.
  • Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using professional spray equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality appearance and finish.
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
Window Tinting
  • Install automotive window tint on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Cut and fit tint film accurately to vehicle windows.

  • Remove and replace tint when necessary.
  • Follow all applicable state and local tint regulations.
General Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Assist with other shop duties as assigned.
