Job summary

GC Realty & Development, LLC in Roselle, IL is seeking a Systems & Automation Engineer to build internal tools, automate workflows, and keep office IT running smoothly. You will develop web apps, data pipelines, and API integrations (Podio, SQL, Python/JavaScript) while collaborating with the Senior Operations Analyst and CEO to turn business needs into scalable tech.

This onsite role offers salary between $80,000 and $105,000 per year, a monthly bonus, health benefits, PTO, holidays, 401(k),

Qualifications

2+ years in a technical role involving scripting, integrations, or systems administration.
Experience with Python or JavaScript and REST APIs.
Willingness to set up, troubleshoot, and repair devices and network equipment.

Responsibilities

Build automations and web applications to reduce manual work.
Develop internal tools and data pipelines with Podio, SQL, and APIs.
Manage data flows between Podio, AppFolio, MySQL and Supabase; fix issues within one business day.
Turn business needs into technical plans and execute them with QA/testing.
Manage user access across Google Workspace, LastPass, JumpCloud and systems.
Support devices and keep office IT running; maintain server, network, and communication systems.
Enforce MFA, monitor backups, apply security updates, and document processes.
