Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Dematic Order Picker to operate automated picking systems in our Maryland warehouse, ensuring accurate, safe order fulfillment using Dematic technology and WMS.

Responsibilities include operating Dematic systems, verifying items, safe labeling and packing, reporting issues, and maintaining OSHA-compliant safety standards while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with automated warehouse systems (Dematic or similar) preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse management software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dematic automated picking systems to retrieve and stage electrical products.
• Verify picked items against order specifications for accuracy and properly label/pack.
• Report technical issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance teams.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area per OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve order or system issues.
