Job summary

Amphenol Corporation’s Nashua, NH-based High Speed Products team is seeking a Tooling Engineer to develop and document assembly tooling and processes for new and existing products. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to design, build, validate tooling, and contribute to cost reductions and process improvements.

You should have a BS in mechanical engineering, experience with Creo/SolidWorks, automation, PLCs, and machine vision, and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering required; robotics/controls minor a plus.
• Experience with automation, PLCs, machine vision, and electrical controls.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document assembly tooling for new/existing products; create scope of work and validate tooling.
• Document assembly processes, spare parts lists, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Define process steps, material handling, and preliminary layouts; support cost reductions.
• Collaborate with product development to explore enabling technologies and supply chain from raw material to customer application.
• Conduct DFMs, FMEAs, and risk assessments with cross-functional teams.
