Job summary

Terabase Energy in Davis/Woodland, CA is hiring a hands-on Mechanical/Electrical Test Technician to support development, validation, and deployment of automated systems and electromechanical products. The role emphasizes fabricating prototypes, debugging, and testing in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

You'll collaborate with Automation and Controls Engineers and Manufacturing teams, assembling and wiring subsystems, and supporting field deployments, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years with electro-mechanical systems in automation or R&D.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience building prototypes and test fixtures.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical areas.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and fabricate mechanical prototypes and test fixtures.
• Wire panels and integrate subsystems.
• Perform testing, data collection, and debugging.
• Support field deployments and FAT.
